Ranchi: The Jharkhand High Court has granted a major relief to five former ministers of the Raghubar Das government — Amar Kumar Bauri, Randhir Singh, Dr. Neera Yadav, Louis Marandi, and Neelkanth Singh Munda. The court has dismissed a public interest litigation (PIL) seeking investigation into allegations of disproportionate assets against the ministers. As a result, no further inquiry will be conducted into the matter.

देवघर : देवघर के देवीपुर थाना क्षेत्र के बघारा रायडीह गांव के रहने वाला 75 वर्षीय कानू महतो गांव में ही एक दुकान का संचालन करता है. बीती रात वह दुकान बंद कर के अंदर सो रहा था तभी रात करीब 3 बजे अज्ञात अपराधियों द्वारा पहले दुकान खोलवाया गया फिर सारा दुकान में रखे समान सहित नगदी को लूट लिया गया. इस दौरान लूटपाट का विरोध करने पर अपराधकर्मियों द्वारा कुल्हाड़ी से मार कर घायल कर दिया गया. अपराधकर्मी समझे की इसकी मौत हो गयी तो सभी वहाँ से फरार हो गए.
