Decomposed Body of Unidentified Man Found in Patna

A decomposed body of an unidentified man was recovered from farmland in Bandipur village under Naubatpur police station in Patna district on Saturday, triggering concern among residents. The body was in an advanced state of decomposition, making identification difficult. Police estimated the deceased to be around 35 years old.

Naubatpur SHO Nandan Kumar Singh reached the location with police personnel after villagers informed authorities. The body was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem examination. Police said the exact cause of death, including whether it was a case of murder or an accident, would be established after the post-mortem report.

Authorities have informed nearby police stations and are matching the unidentified body with missing-person reports. Police are also examining forensic evidence collected from the scene.
