Fatuha-Daniyawan Road Closed for 30 Days Amid Bridge Repairs

Brief By Newsbrief / 10:35 AM on 01 Oct 2026

The Fatuha-Daniyawan road will remain closed for around 30 days to facilitate repair work related to the expansion joint of the Dhowa/Kolhar river bridge. According to traffic police, the closure has been implemented to ensure the repair work is completed safely and without disruption.

Vehicles travelling from Patna towards Biharsharif and Nawada will be diverted through Bakhtiyarpur and Harnaut before continuing towards their destinations. Commuters have been advised to plan their journeys accordingly, as the alternative routes may increase travel distance and time.

For vehicles travelling from Daniyawan towards Patna, an alternative route has been prescribed through Bilta-Sarmera road during the closure period.

The traffic diversion will remain in effect until bridge repair work is completed and normal movement is restored on the Fatuha-Daniyawan route. Traffic police have urged motorists to follow the designated alternative routes and avoid attempting to use the closed road. The arrangement is aimed at reducing congestion and maintaining smoother traffic movement during repairs.
