Police Deputy Inspector General Rajendra Kumar Bhil visited Nawada on Sunday and reviewed preparations for upcoming festivals, law and order, and crime control. He was accorded a guard of honour at the police office, where Superintendent of Police Abhinav Dhiman formally welcomed him. Bhil held a meeting with senior district police officials and directed them to monitor developments across the district.

He ordered special raids to arrest notorious absconding criminals and warrant holders. Officials were also instructed to take legal action against those sharing objectionable, inflammatory or misleading content on social media and monitor political movements and demonstrations.

Ahead of Durga Puja and other festivals, Bhil stressed increased patrolling in sensitive areas and improved traffic management. He also directed monitoring of women’s safety from control rooms to police stations. Bhil warned of administrative action for negligence and urged officers to strengthen public trust by addressing citizens’ grievances sensitively and promptly.
