Rainfall activity is expected to ease across Bihar as Cyclone Amphan weakens, while temperatures are likely to rise. The India Meteorological Department has not issued a rainfall alert for any district on Sunday, although isolated light rain and thunderstorms may occur in some areas.

Weather conditions are expected to remain largely normal, with lighter rainfall mainly in parts of the state. Patna could witness cloudy conditions and isolated rain accompanied by thunderstorms.

Temperatures are forecast to increase from September 27 to 30. Several districts may experience heat during this period, with minimum and maximum temperatures expected to rise. Patna may record around 34°C on September 28, while temperatures could reach 35°C on September 29 and 30.

Khagaria recorded 174% above-normal rainfall during the period, while Patna recorded Bihar’s highest temperature at 33.2°C on Saturday. Officials said the weakening system is expected to bring comparatively drier conditions across the state.
