Bihar STF has arrested wanted criminal Vishal Kumar Singh in a joint operation with Jharkhand Police and Patna District Police. The special team conducted a raid in Jharkhand’s Bariatu police station area on September 23 and apprehended Singh, a resident of Yarpur, who was wanted by Pataliputra police. According to police, Singh had been absconding in connection with a 2019 robbery at Lotus Apartment in Patna’s Pataliputra area. An FIR was registered under Section 394, and investigators later identified his alleged involvement. Police also said Singh was allegedly linked to a triple-murder case during a robbery at the residence of an SBI manager associated with the bank’s Patna Secretariat branch. The accused reportedly faces three criminal cases across different Patna police stations, including robbery and loot-related charges. Following his arrest, STF and district police are questioning Singh about his alleged criminal activities, network and involvement in previous cases and associates.
