Light rain is likely in nine districts of Bihar on September 14, while temperatures are expected to remain stable. The weather department has forecast no significant change in rainfall conditions, with isolated areas potentially receiving moderate showers. Weak monsoon activity continues across the state, with the highest rainfall recorded at 67mm in Bhagalpur. Patna received 12mm and Gaya 6mm.
Flood conditions remain a concern, with more than 44 lakh people in 2,560 villages across 14 districts still affected. Eight rivers are reportedly flowing above danger levels, increasing concerns in several areas.
The department said rainfall activity is associated with a low-pressure area over central India and an adjoining trough. It may move toward Rajasthan and northern Gujarat during the next 24 hours. Patna is expected to remain mostly sunny, hot and humid, with isolated light rainfall possible. Weather officials advise residents to remain alert.
