Patna Police Plan Traffic Diversion Near High Court

Patna: A joint team of traffic police and Patna Metro officials inspected the High Court area to review parking arrangements and traffic movement. The inspection focused on managing congestion around the court premises and ensuring smoother vehicle movement.

Officials also reviewed ongoing metro construction work near Kargil Chowk and prepared a new traffic diversion plan to allow construction to continue without disrupting public movement. The diversion is aimed at maintaining steady traffic flow and reducing congestion during peak hours.

The SP Traffic directed officers to strengthen deployment at major junctions, road cuts and construction sites, particularly during busy periods. Police personnel will be positioned strategically to assist motorists and prevent traffic bottlenecks.

Authorities also ordered strict action against illegally parked vehicles and those violating parking regulations. Regular enforcement drives will be conducted around sensitive and crowded areas such as the High Court and Kargil Chowk.

Traffic officials appealed to motorists to follow the new diversion arrangements and cooperate with police to maintain smooth traffic and facilitate timely metro construction.
