Banka Police Launch District-Wide Vehicle Checking Drive

Banka police launched a vehicle checking campaign across the district on Sunday to strengthen security and prevent crime. The drive was conducted on the directions of police headquarters under the supervision of Superintendent of Police Amitesh Kumar. Police teams were deployed at major roads, intersections and other strategic locations to inspect suspicious vehicles and improve vigilance.

In Amarpur, the campaign was led by Inspector Ramashankar Singh and Station House Officer Rakesh Kumar. Officers stopped two-wheelers and four-wheelers and checked driving licences, vehicle documents, helmets and other mandatory safety requirements. Drivers found violating traffic rules were warned and instructed to comply with regulations to ensure their safety and that of others.

Officials said strict monitoring would continue at sensitive intersections and important routes. Regular checking drives will be conducted to deter anti-social elements, prevent criminal activities and maintain law and order throughout Banka.
