Bihar Education Minister Announces TRE-4 Exam Updates

Bihar Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari has clarified the government’s position on the upcoming TRE-4 teacher recruitment examination and teachers’ transfer issues. Speaking to reporters in Darbhanga after attending Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 137th Mann Ki Baat programme, Tiwari said the TRE-4 notification would be released soon.

He confirmed that negative marking would remain in the examination, despite minor changes to the recruitment process. The minister said the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) would prepare the syllabus and question paper. Candidates are now awaiting details regarding vacancies, eligibility, examination dates and the application process.

On teacher transfers, Tiwari said some teachers had approached the court and the matter would become clearer at the next hearing. However, he urged teachers to contact the Education Department directly with their concerns, assuring them that officials would listen to their problems and seek solutions. The announcements have heightened interest among aspiring teachers across Bihar quickly.
