Bhai Virendra Criticises RJD Leaders, Targets Bihar Government Over Crime

Senior RJD MLA Bhai Virendra has criticised unnamed party leaders, alleging that some are driven by a hunger for money and show little scope for improvement. He said organisational committees would soon be formed, with the party leadership expected to announce details.

Virendra attacked the Bihar government over the state’s law-and-order situation. Referring to recent criminal incidents, he alleged that ordinary citizens, farmers and journalists are unsafe and that murders are continuing without effective government intervention. He claimed opposition leaders have repeatedly urged the chief minister to take strict action against criminals, but the situation has not improved.

He further alleged that arrests in several cases are merely symbolic and demanded stronger police action. Meanwhile, RJD is undergoing organisational restructuring under Tejashwi Yadav, with efforts focused on strengthening party units, expanding grassroots presence, empowering youth and improving booth-level organisation.
