Patna: The Bihar government has announced a major education initiative introducing live digital classes, AI-powered learning tools and free JEE-NEET coaching in government schools. The programme will begin with 150 government schools in Patna from July 16 and aims to strengthen technology-driven education for students.
According to Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, the initiative includes live interactive classes, AI-based educational resources and digital study support for students of Classes 9 to 12. Free coaching for engineering and medical entrance examinations will also be provided, with plans to expand the programme to government schools across the state in phases.
Alongside education reforms, the government has proposed developing an AstroTurf hockey facility at the Shastri Nagar Hockey Training Centre in Patna. Officials said the project is designed to improve sports infrastructure and provide better training facilities for young athletes while enhancing educational opportunities through modern technology and digital learning.
