JPSC Aspirants Protest Alleged Irregularities in 14th Civil Services Preliminary Exam

Hundreds of aspirants and student organisations staged a protest outside the Jharkhand Public Service Commission office in Ranchi on Tuesday, alleging irregularities in the 14th Combined Civil Services Preliminary Examination. Demonstrators demanded an impartial investigation, greater accountability, public answers to their concerns and complete transparency in the recruitment process.

Student leaders alleged that several questions surrounding the examination remain unanswered despite repeated objections submitted to the commission. They warned that continued inaction could erode candidates' trust in JPSC.

Dukhni Soren, daughter of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren, joined the protest and expressed support for the aspirants, urging authorities to protect deserving candidates' interests.

Heavy police security was deployed around the JPSC office. Protesters warned that their agitation would intensify unless authorities promptly address alleged irregularities and ensure a fair, transparent recruitment process.
