Tight Security Imposed for Prohibition Sub-Inspector Preliminary Examination

District authorities have implemented extensive security arrangements for Sunday’s Prohibition Sub-Inspector preliminary examination to ensure a fair and peaceful process. Four examination centres—SS Girls High School, VM Inter School, MM Urdu High School and DAV High School—have been placed under strict surveillance.

Section 163 of the BNSS has been imposed within 500 metres of examination centres, prohibiting unnecessary gatherings and suspicious activities. Candidates will undergo thorough screening, while mobile phones, smartwatches and other electronic gadgets are strictly banned.

Police personnel and magistrates have been deployed at every centre, with special monitoring of photocopy shops, internet cafes, hotels and food outlets. Authorities have also arranged drinking water, toilets and traffic management for candidates. Railway stations and bus services are being monitored to assist visitors. Officials warned that cheating, malpractice or attempts to disrupt the examination will invite strict legal action.
