Nitish Kumar Meets JD(U) Leaders, Urges Focus on Development

JD(U) national president, former Bihar Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Nitish Kumar on Wednesday met senior party leaders and workers at his 7, Circular Road residence in Patna. The delegation included working national president Sanjay Kumar Jha, Legislative Council deputy leader Lalan Sarraf, chief whip Sanjay Kumar Singh, and senior leader Arvind Singh alias Chhotu Singh. During the meeting, Nitish Kumar urged party leaders to strengthen the organisation, remain connected with the public and prioritise resolving people's issues.

Following the meeting, Chhotu Singh praised Nitish Kumar's leadership, crediting him with transforming Bihar through improvements in education, healthcare, women's empowerment, infrastructure and employment opportunities. He highlighted initiatives such as expanded educational institutions, better medical facilities, women's reservation, self-help groups and major infrastructure projects. Expressing confidence in Nitish Kumar's vision, he said Bihar would continue progressing under his guidance and achieve new milestones in development and good governance.
