Purnea University Approves B.Ed Course at Purnea College, Reviews Student Demands

Purnea University has approved the launch of the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme at Purnea College following a review of students' demands during a recent Syndicate meeting. Acting on recommendations from university officials, the administration directed the college to initiate the course while assuring students that their concerns are being addressed. The university also shared updates on several academic matters, including the ongoing convocation process, PhD admissions, postgraduate enrolment, and the distribution of mark sheets, provisional certificates, and degree certificates. Officials said admissions for undergraduate first-semester and postgraduate programmes are progressing according to schedule. The university further announced that PhD admissions for the 2024-25 academic session will follow the revised Raj Bhavan guidelines, eliminating the need for a separate entrance examination. Additionally, efforts are underway to secure AICTE approval for the MBA programme. The administration reaffirmed its commitment to improving academic services, expanding professional education opportunities, and ensuring timely completion of all pending academic processes.
