Speaking on the high-profile contest, Jha said democracy gives every individual the right to contest elections and that the people alone have the power to decide the outcome. He described the Bankipur bypoll as politically significant, saying its result would attract attention across Bihar. Jha also praised BJP national president Nitin Naveen, calling his elevation an important milestone for the alliance. Reiterating support for former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's leadership, he said the NDA remained united and enjoyed strong public backing. Taking a swipe at RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, Jha accused the opposition of spreading misinformation about Bihar's economy and claimed the state continues to witness steady development under the NDA government.
