The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has announced that quarterly examinations for Classes 1 to 8 in Bihar government schools will be conducted from July 7 to July 13. According to the schedule, students of Classes 3 to 8 will appear for subject-wise written examinations, while Classes 1 and 2 will be assessed through oral tests conducted by their teachers. The examinations will be held in two shifts, with schools directed to follow the prescribed timetable. Question papers will be made available through the e-Shikshakosh portal for schools to download. Assessments in Art, Computer Science and Physical Education will be conducted at the school level using a grading system. The Education Department has also confirmed that the PM Poshan mid-day meal scheme will continue during the examination period, ensuring students receive regular meals throughout the week-long assessment process.
