Patna: The Karbigahiya–Mithapur Flyover project has reached another major milestone with the completion of the northern ramp connecting Mithapur to Karbigahiya Roundabout. The ramp is currently undergoing finishing work before being opened to traffic. Officials said the southern ramp, which will facilitate movement from Karbigahiya towards Mithapur, is about 70% complete and is expected to become operational by August 15.

Being constructed at a cost of ₹292.74 crore, the elevated corridor is designed to ease congestion around the busy Karbigahiya Roundabout and improve connectivity between Mithapur, Kankarbagh and central Patna. The project will also provide better access to key locations, including the Legislative Assembly, Secretariat, Beur, Educational Hub and Patna Junction.

Authorities expect the flyover to significantly reduce travel time and traffic bottlenecks. The overall project is targeted for completion by December, with officials closely monitoring construction progress to meet the scheduled deadlines.
