The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has made APAAR ID mandatory for the registration of Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations. The board has directed all District Education Officers to ensure that every eligible student receives an APAAR ID by June 30, 2026, in line with the target set by the Ministry of Education. Students without an APAAR ID will not be allowed to complete the registration process for the board examinations. The board has also made it compulsory for schools to provide their valid UDISE code during registration. Officials said the directive aims to create a unified digital academic identity for students and streamline education records. Schools have been instructed to complete the enrolment process on priority to ensure that no student is deprived of board examination registration due to the absence of an APAAR ID.
