Groom Dies Moments Before Wedding Ceremony in Bihar

A wedding celebration in Bihar’s East Champaran district turned into tragedy after a 25-year-old groom, Shaktinath Sharma, collapsed moments before the varmala ceremony at Ramgarhwa temple. According to family members, the groom suddenly complained of severe pain and fell unconscious just as the ceremony was about to begin. He was immediately rushed to a hospital in Raxaul, where doctors declared him dead during treatment despite efforts to save him. The incident left both families and guests in shock, replacing the festive atmosphere with grief. The bride, relatives, and villagers were devastated by the unexpected loss. The groom’s body was later taken to his native village in West Champaran, where funeral preparations began.
