NEET Re-Exam Scam Exposed: 30 Arrested in Bihar Proxy Candidate Racket

Bihar Police have busted an alleged interstate solver gang accused of manipulating the NEET-UG re-examination through impersonation and proxy candidates. A total of 30 people, including biometric operators, medical students and examination-related personnel, were arrested during coordinated raids across multiple districts.

According to investigators, the gang allegedly arranged for proxy candidates, including MBBS students, to appear in place of registered examinees. Authorities claim the racket exploited weaknesses in biometric verification and examination security systems. Three separate FIRs have been registered as police continue to investigate the network’s operations.

One of the key allegations involves a candidate reportedly attempting to take the examination on behalf of another student. Officials said suspicious biometric records and verification discrepancies helped expose the scheme.

The arrests have raised fresh concerns about the integrity of competitive examinations. Police are now examining possible interstate links and identifying additional individuals who may have been involved in the alleged fraud.
