Stone Thrown at Shatabdi Carrying RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Probe Underway

A stone-pelting incident involving the Lucknow-Delhi Shatabdi Express triggered concern on Thursday evening after it was revealed that RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat was traveling on the train. The incident occurred around 7:45 pm near Pameshwar Gate Bridge, close to Firozabad railway station on the Etawah-Tundla rail section.

According to police, an unidentified person hurled a stone at a coach of the 12003 Shatabdi Express, causing minor damage. No passengers were injured, and Mohan Bhagwat, who was traveling in the E-1 coach after boarding the train in Kanpur, remained completely safe.

Following the incident, senior railway and police officials rushed to the spot and launched an investigation. Authorities are examining CCTV footage from nearby locations and questioning local residents to identify the culprit. The incident has also raised concerns over railway security, prompting calls for stricter monitoring along sensitive rail routes.
