The Patna district administration has announced stringent measures ahead of the NEET UG re-examination scheduled for June 21, aiming to ensure a fair and smooth conduct of the test. More than 46,000 candidates are expected to appear at examination centres across the district.
To prevent any disruption or malpractice, all coaching institutes in Patna will remain closed on the examination day. Authorities have also intensified surveillance, deployed field officers, and instructed officials to take immediate action against any violations of examination guidelines.
In a major relief for students, free bus transportation will be provided to candidates through arrangements made with the Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC). Officials have also been directed to maintain continuous monitoring of social media platforms to curb rumours and misinformation related to the examination.
The administration emphasized strict adherence to NTA guidelines while ensuring adequate facilities, security, and support for students and their guardians.
