Speeding Scorpio Kills Cyclist, Leaves Biker Critically Injured in Supaul

A tragic road accident in Bihar’s Supaul district claimed the life of a 53-year-old cyclist and left a motorcyclist critically injured after a speeding Scorpio allegedly rammed into both vehicles. The incident occurred near Pathra Chowk under Pipra police station limits on NH-327E.

The deceased, identified as Arjun Paswan, was returning home on his bicycle after visiting a piece of land when the SUV struck him. According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle was travelling at high speed and hit both the cyclist and a motorcycle rider with tremendous force.

Paswan died on the spot, while the injured biker was rushed to a private hospital, where he remains under treatment in critical condition. Police reached the scene, recovered the body, and sent it for post-mortem examination.

Authorities have launched an investigation and are searching for the Scorpio involved in the crash, while traffic police continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
