The Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) has announced a major organisational reshuffle in Bihar, appointing Alok Singh as the party’s new state president. The announcement was made by RLM national president and Rajya Sabha MP Upendra Kushwaha during a party event on Sunday. To further strengthen the state unit, Prashant Pankaj and Subhash Chandravanshi have been named working state presidents, while Himanshu Patel has been appointed principal general secretary.

The decision came after organisational elections in which contenders authorized Kushwaha to make the final selection for the top post. Addressing party workers, Kushwaha emphasized RLM’s commitment to internal democracy, transparency, and grassroots expansion.

He highlighted that district-level organisational elections have already been completed in 32 districts and claimed the party’s membership has crossed 22 lakh. RLM leaders expressed confidence that the new team will accelerate organisational growth and strengthen the party ahead of future political challenges in Bihar.
