Khagaria Tragedy: Two Brothers Killed After Speeding Hyva Hits Motorcycle on NH-107

A tragic road accident in Bihar’s Khagaria district claimed the lives of two brothers after a speeding Hyva truck collided with their motorcycle on National Highway 107 near Sonbarsa Ghat on Thursday afternoon. The victims were identified as Mohammad Arwaz, 22, and his brother Mohammad Asav, residents of Chodli village in Beldaur police station area.

According to police, the brothers were travelling towards Maheshkhunt when the truck, reportedly moving at high speed, struck their motorcycle. The impact was so severe that both sustained critical injuries and died on the spot.

Police personnel reached the scene shortly after receiving information and took the bodies into custody before sending them to Khagaria Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examination. The accident has left the family and villagers in deep shock.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, while local residents have demanded stricter traffic enforcement and enhanced road safety measures on NH-107.
