In a major breakthrough against organised crime, a joint team of the Special Task Force (STF) and Patna Police foiled an alleged robbery attempt targeting a prominent businessman in Patna City’s Khajekalan police station area. Acting on precise intelligence inputs, police intercepted two suspected criminals, identified as Mohammad Kaish alias Kaifu and Mohammad Adil, before the planned crime could take place.

During the operation, officials recovered weapons and five live cartridges from the accused, indicating preparations for a potentially violent attack. According to preliminary police findings, Kaifu has multiple criminal cases, including murder, robbery, and extortion, registered against him, while Adil also faces criminal charges in different police stations.

The swift action by STF and local police prevented a possible sensational crime, bringing relief to traders and residents in the area. Police are now interrogating the accused to identify accomplices, trace weapon suppliers, and uncover the wider criminal network behind the conspiracy.
