The National Testing Agency has provided major relief to candidates appearing for NEET UG 2026 by launching a special online facility for examination fee refunds. In a newly issued public notice, the agency announced that students can now directly submit their bank details through the official registration portal to claim their refunds in a smoother and more transparent manner.
Candidates waiting for their refund must visit the official NEET UG 2026 registration portal and log in using their credentials. After logging in, they need to click on the refund link and carefully fill in their banking information to complete the process.
According to the notice, applicants must provide important details such as the account holder’s name, IFSC code, bank account number, and bank name. For additional security and verification, candidates may also upload a scanned copy of a cancelled cheque.
The agency has clearly stated that there is no room for mistakes during the submission process. Bank details can be submitted only once, and no correction or modification facility will be available afterward. Therefore, students have been advised to verify all information carefully before final submission.
The special refund submission window has been opened from May 22 and will remain active until May 27 at 11:50 PM. The NTA has also advised candidates not to file any chargeback claims during the refund process, as it may create complications in verification and payment settlement.
Students are encouraged to keep checking the official website regularly for further updates and announcements related to the refund process and NEET UG 2026 examination procedures.
