Bihar’s ambitious ₹1,453 crore Bihta International Airport project is progressing through multiple phases, but concerns are mounting over whether it will be ready by the April 2027 target date. Construction of the apron area, where aircraft will be parked and serviced, is reportedly underway, while boundary wall work is being completed in phases to strengthen airport security. Authorities have also made progress in land acquisition, a crucial component for the airport’s expansion.
