A major road accident on Bihar’s NH-28 in Muzaffarpur district left three people seriously injured after two motorcycles collided head-on near Trident School under the Maniyari police station area. According to local police, the accident occurred on the busy Muzaffarpur–Samastipur highway, where both bikes were reportedly moving at high speed before the violent crash.
The impact of the collision threw the riders onto the road, creating panic among commuters and nearby residents. Eyewitnesses said loud screams and the damaged motorcycles quickly drew a large crowd to the accident site. Two of the injured are said to be in critical condition.
After receiving information, Maniyari police reached the spot and, with the help of local residents, rushed the injured victims to a hospital in Muzaffarpur for emergency treatment. Authorities have started an investigation into the accident, while police appealed to motorists to follow traffic rules and avoid overspeeding on highways to prevent such incidents.
