The Bihar government has launched an integrated digital portal to streamline hotel reservations and tour package bookings across 38 properties in the state, marking a significant push towards modernising tourism services. Developed by the Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation, the platform enables travellers to explore accommodations, compare options, and complete bookings through a user-friendly interface.
The portal also offers curated tour packages covering major destinations such as Rajgir, Nalanda, Bodh Gaya, and Pawapuri, along with experiences like the Patna Darshan city tour and river cruises. Package pricing is structured to include meals, accommodation, transport, and guided visits, ensuring convenience for tourists.
Officials said the initiative aims to simplify travel planning, enhance transparency, and boost domestic as well as international tourism. Additional features, including bookings for attractions like the Rajgir Ropeway, are also integrated, improving overall accessibility and visitor experience across Bihar.
