The Bihar government has intensified efforts to strengthen the state’s education system, with Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary emphasizing quality education for every child. During a high-level review meeting, he directed teachers to strictly follow their responsibilities, maintain punctuality, and ensure effective classroom teaching. Any negligence, he warned, will not be tolerated.
Choudhary also called for greater transparency in teacher transfer and posting processes by improving the existing software system to eliminate irregularities. He stressed the importance of continuous teacher training, stating that better-trained educators directly improve student outcomes.
The meeting reviewed key initiatives, including model schools under the Saat Nischay program, library development, and the PM Poshan scheme. Officials were also instructed to regularly assess NGO-led education programs.
Senior officials presented updates on ongoing projects, highlighting the government’s focus on accountability, efficiency, and building a stronger education system.
