During the third phase of the BPSC Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) examination held on April 20–21, a major cheating attempt was uncovered at a centre in Chhapra. The incident occurred at Sadhulal Prithvi Chand Higher Secondary School during routine frisking. A candidate, identified as Rohit Kumar from Siwan district, was caught carrying high-tech devices designed to facilitate malpractice.
According to officials, Kumar had concealed a Bluetooth device inside his slippers and was also found in possession of a specially modified pen fitted with a microphone. The sophisticated setup shocked security personnel, but their vigilance ensured the attempt was foiled in time.
