Congress leader and AICC member Anand Madhav has announced a major conference on April 21 in Khagaria under the “Save Bihar Congress” campaign, aimed at reviving the party’s declining presence in the state. Organised by dedicated party workers and led by former MLA Chhatrapati Yadav, the meeting is expected to bring together several leaders and former district presidents.
Madhav sharply criticised the current state leadership, alleging that the party has lost its grassroots connect due to ineffective strategies and internal mismanagement. He termed recent outreach initiatives as misleading, claiming they divert attention from leadership failures. He also questioned the process of appointing district presidents, alleging that loyal ground-level workers are being sidelined.
The conference seeks to mobilise party workers, address internal grievances, and convey concerns directly to the high command. Leaders warn that without urgent corrective measures, the Congress risks further decline in Bihar.
