Patna Burglary Mastermind Arrested; Jewellery Worth Rs 30 Lakh Recovered

Patna Police have arrested alleged burglary mastermind Mohammad Junaid Mohammad Zubair in connection with a high-value theft case involving jewellery and cash worth around Rs 30 lakh. The thefts were reported from multiple flats in New Patliputra Colony, prompting a detailed investigation. Using CCTV footage and tracking a suspicious motorcycle, police identified and traced the accused to a rented residence in Jakkanpur, where he was apprehended.

During the raid, officers recovered stolen jewellery, cash, firearms, live cartridges, burglary tools, and other incriminating items. Authorities stated that Junaid is a habitual offender with several criminal cases registered against him across different police stations. Investigators believe he operated with a network of accomplices, two of whom are currently absconding.

Police have launched further raids to apprehend the remaining suspects. Officials said the gang used reconnaissance and precise planning to target residential apartments, often striking when occupants were away.
