Muzaffarpur has been placed under a comprehensive security blanket ahead of Ram Navami, with authorities implementing a multi-layered plan to maintain law and order. Senior Superintendent of Police Kantesh Kumar Mishra has issued a stern warning against any attempt to disrupt communal harmony, emphasizing strict legal action against offenders, including those spreading misinformation on social media.

Security arrangements include deployment of additional police forces across key locations, with magistrates and officers accompanying all religious processions. Drone surveillance and multiple CCTV control rooms have been activated to monitor real-time activities across the city. Mock drills have already been conducted to ensure preparedness.

Sensitive areas have witnessed flag marches to deter potential disturbances, while Quick Response Teams (QRT) have been stationed for rapid intervention. For idol immersion, SDRF teams will remain deployed, and the use of boats at ghats has been prohibited to avoid accidents.
