Nilgai Herd Collision Kills Father, Son in Bihar Road Accident

A tragic accident in Bihar’s Kaimur district claimed the lives of a father and son after a herd of nilgai collided with their auto-rickshaw, causing it to overturn. The incident occurred near Naugrah village under the Bhagwanpur police station area during the early hours. The victims were identified as Inar Ram, 60, and his son Prakash Ram, 30, residents of Majhiaon village.

According to police and eyewitnesses, the animals suddenly leapt onto the moving vehicle, destabilising it and leading to the crash. Another passenger, Amitabh Ram, sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Authorities reached the spot soon after and sent the victims to Bhabhua Sadar Hospital, where they were declared dead.

The incident has left the local community in shock and mourning. Police have initiated an investigation, while family members have demanded compensation, citing the sudden and tragic nature of the accident.
