The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has once again set a national benchmark by declaring the Intermediate Annual Examination 2026 results within just 25 days of evaluation. This marks the eighth consecutive year the board has announced results in March. Over 13.04 lakh students appeared, with an overall pass percentage of 85.19%.
The board implemented advanced measures such as pre-printed answer sheets with barcodes and lithocodes, along with OMR-based candidate details, significantly reducing errors and speeding up evaluation. Digital entry of marks at all centres and newly developed software further streamlined result processing.
To ensure fairness, multiple question sets, CCTV surveillance, and strict frisking protocols were enforced across 152 model centres. BSEB’s consistent reforms have earned national recognition, including the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence. Officials congratulated successful candidates and acknowledged the efforts of educators and administrators.
