In a major administrative move aimed at strengthening law and order, Siwan Superintendent of Police Puran Kumar Jha has ordered a reshuffle of police officers across several stations in the district. The changes have been made to fill vacant positions and replace officials affected by departmental action or suspension.
Under the new postings, Inspector Raju Kumar has been appointed Station House Officer (SHO) of Basantpur, while Inspector Rajesh Kumar Singh has been given charge of GB Nagar police station. Sub-Inspector Vikas Kumar Bittu has been made SHO of Sarai, and Jeetmohan Kumar has been posted as SHO of Nautan.
Additionally, Sub-Inspector Dheeraj Kumar will head Jamo Bazar police station, while Mohan Kumar Nirala has been assigned as Additional SHO in Daraunda.
The SP has directed all officers to assume charge immediately, stating that the reshuffle is essential to ensure administrative transparency, efficiency, and tighter control over crime in the district.
