An official from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) reviewed the progress of the Danapur–Bihta Elevated Road project during a site inspection in Patna on Thursday. The inspection was carried out to assess construction progress, quality standards and overall development of the key infrastructure project aimed at improving connectivity in the region.
During the visit, officials briefed the regional officer about ongoing construction work, structural development and traffic management arrangements at the site. The officer emphasized the need to maintain the pace of construction while ensuring strict adherence to safety norms and quality standards.
He also directed project authorities and construction agencies to address any bottlenecks promptly so the work can be completed within the stipulated timeline. Officials stated that the elevated corridor is expected to significantly reduce traffic congestion between Patna and its western suburbs. Once completed, the project will improve connectivity between Danapur, Bihta and nearby areas, benefiting commuters and boosting local economic activity.
