Unidentified Body Found Under Rajendra Setu in Mokama, Investigation Underway

An unidentified body was found under Rajendra Setu near pillar number two in Mokama, Patna district, causing panic in the surrounding area. After receiving information about the incident, the Hathidah police station in-charge, Ranjan Kumar, immediately dispatched a police team to the spot. Upon arrival, officers secured the area and began preliminary investigation.

According to police, the body was lying near the second pillar beneath the bridge. Initial examination did not reveal any visible injury marks on the deceased. The man was wearing a black trouser, a blue-black T-shirt and safety shoes, leading police to suspect he may have been a worker involved in nearby construction activities.

Investigators are also considering the possibility that the person may have fallen from a train or railway track near the bridge. The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team has been called to assist with the investigation. The body will be sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death while police continue efforts to identify the deceased.
