Bihar’s Monica Srivastava Secures AIR-16 in UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results of the Civil Services Examination 2025, with Monica Srivastava from Aurangabad district in Bihar securing an impressive All India Rank (AIR) 16. Her achievement has brought pride and celebration to her family as well as the local community.

Monica’s parents, E.B.K. Srivastava and Bharti Srivastava, expressed immense happiness over their daughter’s success, crediting her dedication and consistent hard work for the milestone. Residents of the area have also congratulated her, describing the accomplishment as a proud moment for the district.

The UPSC conducted the written examination in August 2025, followed by the personality test in February 2026. After completing the rigorous selection process, the commission recommended a total of 958 candidates for appointment to various central services.

Based on the merit list, selected candidates will join prestigious services such as the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and other Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ central government services.
