The family of a NEET aspirant from Bihar’s Jehanabad district has received a second death threat days after the student’s mysterious death, intensifying fears and security concerns. The latest note allegedly warned that the family’s son would also be killed, deepening their distress. Police have increased protection outside the residence, while efforts continue to trace those responsible for the threats.
The student had been preparing for the NEET examination in Patna and was found unconscious in her hostel room last month. She later died during treatment. While initial reports suggested suicide, the family alleged foul play, citing forensic findings that raised serious questions.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which has taken over the case, recently visited the family and seized key digital evidence, including a mobile phone believed to contain crucial information. Officials said the probe is examining all angles, including the origin of the threatening notes, as the family continues to seek justice.
