Bihar Police SI Recruitment Exam Begins for 1,799 Posts Under Tight Security

The Bihar Police Sub-Inspector recruitment examination for 1,799 posts commenced on Tuesday with extensive security arrangements across the state. More than one million candidates are appearing for the two-day preliminary test being conducted at 498 examination centres.

Officials said stringent measures have been put in place to ensure transparency and prevent malpractice. These include biometric verification of candidates, round-the-clock CCTV surveillance at centres, and deployment of flying squads to conduct surprise checks.
