Patna Road Accident Claims Life of Hajipur Man

A tragic road accident in Patna claimed the life of a 45-year-old man on Wednesday morning, police said. The incident occurred on a state highway near Dharamshala under the Didarganj police station area. The deceased has been identified as Alok Kumar Singh, a resident of Hajipur.

According to preliminary information, Singh was travelling on his motorcycle from Hajipur towards Raghopur block via Didarganj when the accident took place. The exact cause of the crash and the vehicle involved are yet to be ascertained. He died on the spot due to the severity of the injuries sustained in the accident.

Following the incident, traffic movement on one lane of the busy state highway was disrupted for some time. Didarganj police promptly reached the spot, managed traffic flow, and initiated an investigation. The victim’s family has been informed about the incident. Police have also taken details of the motorcycle, bearing registration number BR-31S-3854, and said further legal action will follow after a detailed probe.
