Bihar Verification Drive Uncovers 2,912 Fake Teacher Certificates

Bihar authorities have exposed fraud in teacher recruitment after verifying educational records. Officials found 2,912 certificates to be fake and registered over 1,700 cases. The Vigilance Investigation Bureau is leading the probe, which has covered more than 646,000 teachers so far. More FIRs are expected as verification continues, officials warned, adding that appointments obtained through forged documents may be cancelled.
