Bihar to Survey Women Earners Under Jeevika, Eyes ‘Lakhpati Didi’ Expansion

Patna: The Bihar government will survey women earning over Rs 60,000 annually under its Jeevika programme to provide further financial and technical support. The move follows the Chief Minister’s Women Employment Scheme, which assisted 1.56 crore women. Jeevika members will conduct the survey to identify ‘Lakhpati Didis’, with new guidelines and phased assistance expected soon across the state governmentwide initiative.
