Bihar Becomes India’s Leading Mushroom Producer, Surpasses Odisha

Bihar has emerged as the country’s top mushroom-producing state, overtaking Odisha with rapid growth supported by government subsidies and rising farmer participation. Contributing nearly 11% of India’s output, the state now produces over 41,000 tonnes annually.
