Volcanic Ash from Rare Ethiopian Eruption Reaches Indian Skies

Volcanic ash clouds from Ethiopia’s Hayli Gubbi volcano, which erupted for the first time in recorded history, have reached India through Rajasthan and Gujarat. Two ash layers at 25,000–35,000 feet and 25,000–45,000 feet now cover northern and western regions, including Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. The clouds are drifting towards China.
